Transforming art
Next workshops: Saturday, May 14 and 28, 12-4pm. We will meet in the church hall (56a Raglan St Waterloo) and online. Our teacher is Micaela Christie.
Micaela says: May workshops will play with the idea of transformation and transmogrification!
In the first session we will be turning numbers into animals, learning techniques to create unique critters.
In the second session we will be welcoming the coming of winter, layering mediums, collage and lettering and exploring how to invite light into our art.
For this week’s class (May 14) gather your favourite art materials, try and include:
• fine tip black pen or biro
• pencils
• something for painting – watercolours if you have them, acrylic paints or textas if you like.
• a sketch book and/or a variety of papers
• if you have some ink, bring that along for the second session (May 28)!
