Communion plates – and baskets

Thanks to local artist Britt Johnson for creating our two communion plate baskets.

They are just what we need to keep our porcelain plates (by local artist Woochang Kim) safe and secure in the vestry cupboard. And they look beautiful on the altar-table too.

The plates help us to share the communion bread and juice in a Covid-safe way. Each plate is imprinted with a gum leaf gathered on Gadigal land by Mahalia and Bronson.
